All about Zakynthos

It is of medium size with a maximum length of up to 10cm. A diurnal frog that often prefers to be out of the water in the sun. We find it in lakes, rivers, ravines and stagnant waters. The breeding season is in the spring with the females laying more than 10,000 eggs and laying them en masse by a few hundred in the water.
