Ever since it began back in 1918 in the village of Kallipado, in the centre of Zakynthos island, the three generations behind Callinico Winery have been consistently enamored with the production of quality Zakynthian wine, and they continue their work with dedication and love today. Everything began with a small traditional estate, where the best wine varieties of the island were gathered.

The production of sublime wines, the respect towards the consumer and the attention to every detail drove Callinico Winery to consecutive successful expansion and to a significant growth – a growth that even the disastrous earthquake of 1953 could not stop. It was around this time where the second generation took over and continued the family tradition, passing the proverbial torch to the third generation in 1990.
