In the area of Ano Vasilikos, on the public road, in front of the former Roma house, in 1997, a bronze bust of the writer Dionysios A. Roma (1906 - 1981), the work of the sculptor Dionysis Palmas (1949 - ), was placed by the cultural association "The Beautiful Vasilikos". At the base of the bust is a bronze model of an open book, with the title of Romas' novel 'Periplοus' engraved on the left-hand page.
