In the courtyard in front of the entrance of the church of Agios Dionysios, in December 2004, the bronze busts of the Bishops Dionysios Plaisas (1852 - 1933), Metropolitan of Zakynthos (20.11.1894 - 18.12. 1933) and Chrysostomos Demetrios (1890 - 1958), Metropolitan of Zakynthos (5.6.1934 - 15.11.1957), works of the sculptor Praxitelis Tzanoulinou (1955 - ). The bust of Metropolitan Dionysios Plaisas was built at the expense of the Municipality of Zakynthos.
