In the central square of Agios Dimitrios, a memorial has also been built, made of a one-piece stone of local origin which has on the front side reliefs of the emblem of peace, a wreath with ribbons and the names of the soldiers who were killed, residents of the village, who participated in the wars from 1912 to 1922, and finally a representation of an ancient lamp. It is crowned by a representation of a dove with open wings, resting on an elaborately carved headstone. On the front face and the inscription: St. Demetrius 1984 The soldiers whose names are engraved on the monument are: Spyridon Ioannou Stamiris 1912 / Spyridon Dionysiou Stamiris 1914 / Dionysios Demetriou Stamiris 1917 / Andreas Panagiotou Pettas 1922 / Angelos Dionysiou Roukanas 1922 / Emmanuel Georgiou Stamiris 1922 / Christos Georgiou Stamiris 1922 / Marinos Panagioti Zivas 1944 Marinos Zivas was executed by the Germans when he was caught in the bell tower of the church, carrying a gun, on the day of the ambush of September 7, 1944. The memorial was built about 30 years ago and is the work of the local stonecutter Nikolaos Xenos - Tzaris.
