In the central square of Agios Dimitrios, a memorial has also been built, made of a one-piece stone of local origin which has on the front side reliefs of the emblem of peace, a wreath with ribbons and the names of the soldiers who were killed, residents of the village, who participated in the wars from 1912 to 1922, and finally a representation of an ancient lamp. It is crowned by a representation of a dove with open wings, resting on an elaborately carved headstone. The memorial was built about 30 years ago and is the work of the local stonecutter Nikolaos Xenos - Tzaris.
