All about Zakynthos

It is located about 40 km north of the port of Zakynthos. It was built in 1897 and operated on oil. Its height is 9.5 meters and its focal height is 67 meters. The area has rich biodiversity with representative species of thermo-Mediterranean vegetation mainly pines and skins, while the geomorphology with the blue caves and the view to the Ionian offer images of high natural beauty. The site belongs to the protection of Antiquities.
