In the central square which bears the name of the Mayor of Zakynthos, Lawyer Lambros I. Zivas (1910 - 1987), in the year 1995, a marble column was placed, a memorial, crowned by an eagle representation and bears the inscription engraved: "In memory of the heroically fallen fighters of the community of Vanato".
